A writer of dreams, a storyteller for all seasons

Hey y’all,

How do you like me now?

New website…a new year…and new books. Nothing better.

The first release of the year was a new romantic suspense called Dark Water Rising, from Mira Books.

Face your fears, people say. Well, I faced mine writing this book. I am scared spitless of dark, deep water. Wild water. White water. Water out of control. Set in Houston during hurricane season, writing Dark Water Rising was a rollercoaster ride for me. Imagine being a woman alone and injured, trapped in an empty house during a hurricane, and the next two people who find shelter there with you are escaped prisoners. All I’m going to say is that I was happy to put her world upright and give her a happy-ever-after.

My next new book out comes at the end of this month…February 26. It’s called Forever my Hero. It’s a new book in my continuing Blessings series. Each story is a stand-alone book, but they’re all connected to each other by the same people who live in that town. All of the Blessings books have some drama. I can’t write just sweet love stories. But I can promise a sweet love story in each book, and the best feel-good, happy-ever-afters when the stories are over. I call this book my cross-over book. But it wasn’t characters that I carried from one book to another, it was weather. This book has hurricane weather, too. But what can I say, it was the season for them, and both of the places in the books are in coastal regions. I love this little town and the people in it so much, that if the place was real, I would move there.

So… this is my new blog, and a little bit about my new stories. Check out this shiny, new website, and come back soon for weekly updates.

Love, Sharon

Becky… I’m finally able to respond to your comment. The new website was like a new baby. Kind of cranky until it figured out what it was supposed to do. So thank you so much for reading my stories. I am honored to be your #1.

Hi, I just read The Missing Piece, please is there going to be a next book in these characters?

Yes… it’s the Jigsaw Files, and each book has its own title. There will be 4 of them. Thanks.
